Eating with energy,

At the dawn of night,
The dusk of day,
The sun goes to sleep.
Joining it's elders,
In the city of suns.
The sky is lit,
With millions of light.
Trying to help us,
Remember the day.

The dusk of day,
Earth enters bed.
Turning up the stars,
but not,
the huge light.
The sun sits,
at the edge of the world.
Hanging on with all of its might.
A half-day.

A miracle of life.

The Sun.
Not hospitable, but
A source of wonder and
Majesty.
Too close, you'll need
Some suntan lotion.
Too far,
A coat.
But in the perfect
World,
Sunlight causes only
Beauty.

a blessing.
